The 1310 Bandits are a visionary female-led team of filmmakers, creating stories that advocate social consciousness and responsibility. Our dedicated tribe is two-time, back-to-back Best Film winners at the 48 Hour Film Project (Miami Chapter, 2015 & 2016). 1310 Bandits celebrates diversity without ethnic, socioeconomic, educational, or gender barriers. Our commitment is to create compelling cinematic stories that highlight the human experience. We choose to create stories that are authentically NOW. Our passion is to present a platform on which taboo subjects, the LGBT community, and the world can begin a dialogue. Through film, workshops, and outreach, we ignite understanding, compassion, and social awareness within the global community. We don’t make movies only to entertain but to make a positive impact on the world that will help bring us closer together as humans.
