On July 14, the President of the United States tweeted a racist rant, clearly aimed at four Democratic lawmakers, all women of color ― Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (Mich.) ― saying they should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”

The following day, Trump continued to defend his remarks, telling reporters that those members of Congress “hate our country.”

Their responses are perfect. Powerful womxn scare him. Period. 

That is why it is imperative we continue to #ElectMoreWomen and call out blatant racism and hate when we see it.
