What inspired you to run for office? “My father passed away when I was twelve. I remember him being afraid to die and leave us homeless and in debt with medical bills. When someone is fighting for their life, that should be the last thing their worrying about. I was inspired to run for office because this is the harsh reality for all to many people. Access to healthcare is a human right, and I’m dedicated to fight for that right.”

What are you fighting for? “I’m fighting for the working class people. I’m fighting for job growth, health care, social justice, education, and our environment.”

What do you want voters to know about you? “I want voters to know that I’m doing this because I understand hardship. I’m proud to be from the 108thdistrict, and I want to take care of everyone who calls it home. I’m no stranger to a fight, and I will fight relentlessly for you in Springfield.”
